What a lovely little story. Thought about you a lot when I was in Costa Rica lately. My photographer friend took hundreds of photos of local birds. I even got a few myself of mot-mots, magpies, and kisskaqdees. Not harbingers of spring, but wonderful friends to see when I’m down there.
